Police Chief To Report on State of the Department at Men’s Club Meeting

Friday, April, 8, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Police Chief Leon Krowlikowski will update members of the New Canaan Men’s Club Friday on the state of the town’s Police Department, likely touching on several high profile department concerns, such as ways to lower the incidence of car thefts, efforts to reduce distracted driving, steps homeowners can take to prevent burglaries and the status of plans for the South Avenue headquarters building.
Krowlikowski, with a 33-year career on the police force, has held several previous positions, including captain, commander of Staff Services and Operations Divisions, patrol lieutenant and field training officer, among others.
The Men’s Club meets most weeks in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church beginning at 10 a.m. Speaker presentations usually begin around 10:40 a.m., following the business portion of the session.
Krowlikowski graduated from the University of Connecticut before earning a law degree from Quinnipiac School of Law and an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts. He also is a graduate from the FBI National Academy and completed an executive education course at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
The Men’s Club has opening for new members, men 55-years old and above. Individuals interested in joining may email ncmens@ncmens.club
