The New Canaan Men’s Club will learn about reverse mortgages at its meeting Friday from Carol Miller, a senior reverse mortgage consultant with Longbridge Financial based in Newport, R.I. Reverse mortgages enable retirees and others to tap into the equity of their homes while maintaining ownership.
The club will meet in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge, beginning at 10 a.m. Miller will begin her presentation at 10:40 a.m. and answer member questions after her remarks.
“I’m proud to work with a company focused on educating seniors about reverse mortgages to help them unlock the power of their homes to live a more comfortable retirement,” she said. As a senior consultant for Longbridge, she serves Connecticut and most of New England, along with Colorado and Florida.
Having graduated first in her class from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Finance, she has been serving the industry for 26 years, working with clients, their attorneys, bankers and financial planners.
