Police after midnight Tuesday cited a New Canaan teen and two others for minor drug charges after coming upon a parked car in Waveny after hours.
At about 12:05 a.m. on Sept. 13, an officer on patrol in the park saw an occupied vehicle there, in violation of a town ordinance governing park hours, according to a police report.
An investigation turned up marijuana as well as smoking gear in the form of grinders and pipes, the report said.
Two Norwalk men, both 20, and a 19-year-old New Canaan girl from Hickok Road were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction offense.
One of the Norwalk men also was cited for possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana.
