Police on Saturday night cited a 16-year-old New Canaan male for possession of alcohol by a minor on private property.
At about 10:05 p.m., officers were dispatched to an East Cross Road home on a report of a possible youth party, officials said.
There, authorities conducted an investigation that resulted in the infraction-level charge for the New Canaan teen.
Police withheld his name because of his age. Such cases typically are referred to the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court.
In a separate incident, police at about 11:33 p.m. Friday were dispatched to a Douglas Road residence after homeowners were alerted by a security camera that someone had been at their front door.
Responding officers found four male juveniles in the area, one of whom matched the description given by the Douglas Road homeowner, according to a police report.
Following an investigation, police cited a 16-year-old Greenwich juvenile for possession of an electronic smoking device by a minor. Police also cited a 15-year-old Fairfield youth for possession of alcohol by a minor on a public highway.
