Officer Geoffrey Lambert will start Nov. 7 in the School Resource Officer role, according to a press release issued by Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.

“During his career he has received many letters of appreciation, awards and commendations for exceptional performance,” Krolikowski said. “Geoff has been a youth baseball coach for many years and was from 2011-2013 a varsity baseball coach at NCHS.”

He succeeds Sgt. Jason Kim, who worked as SRO at the high school for four years.

During his time at NCHS, Lambert has served as patrol officer, dispatcher, field training officer, field training officer coordinator and child safety seat technician, the chief said.

“We are excited with Officer Lambert’s assignment and we are confident that he will build upon the great work of our previous three SROs,” Krolikowski said. “As the NCHS SRO, he will work closely with faculty and he will continue to build relationships with our school community, as he coaches and mentors all students.”
