The New Canaan Building Department this month issued a permit for a 5,200-square-foot home on Overlook Drive.
The six-bedroom house planned for 131 Overlook Drive will include five full bathrooms, two half-baths and a 2,096-square-foot finished basement, according to the permit, issued April 5.
It will have three fireplaces, 754-square-foot finished attic and three-bay garage, the permit said.
The house will cost an estimated $1.2 million to build, it said.
The contractor on the job is Stamford-based Dominic Altamura, according to the permit. The architect is Wilton-based Jia Hua Architect.
The one-acre property had a 1954-built split-level home on it, tax records show. A demolition permit for that structure was issued by the town in November.
