The New Canaan Building Department on Jan. 14 issued a permit for a 4,770-square-foot house on Silver Ridge Road.
The four-bedroom home at 102 Silver Ridge Road will include five full bathrooms, one half-bath, a finished attic, two fireplaces and a three-car garage, according to the building permit.
It will cost $905,000 to build, the permit said.
The contractor on the job is 102 Silver Ridge Associates LLC of New Canaan, the architect Milton Gregory Grew of Woodbury-based Grew Design Inc.
The town on Jan. 14 also issued a demolition permit for the existing structure on the property, a 1961-built ranch-style home, building records show.
The 1.07-acre plot was purchased in September for $950,000, tax records show. The new owner is the same LLC that is listed as a contractor for the new construction. Its managing principal is a Wilton man, according to Connecticut Secretary of the State records.
905,000/4770=$189 SF? The bldg. dept. will undoubtedly calculate the cost of the permits at a higher SF cost.
