The town last week received an application to build a 3,210-square-foot house at the corner of Brinckerhoff Avenue and Route 106.
The new four-bedroom home at 8 Brinckerhoff Ave., formerly 48 Bank St., will include a master bedroom and bath, according to the application, filed March 24 by a limited liability company whose principal is a New Canaan man, according to Connecticut Secretary of the State records.
It will cost about $480,000 to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job is New Canaan-based Sillo Construction LLC, and the architect is Steven Lecher of New Canaan, it said.
According to tax records, 8 Brinckerhoff Ave. includes .2 acres, while an adjoining property at 46 Bank St., purchased one year ago by the same LLC, includes .21 acres.
