The New Canaan Building Department last week received an application to build a new house on Knapp Lane.
The three-bedroom, 3,300-square-foot house planned for 29 Knapp Lane will include three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half-baths, according to a building permit application filed Oct. 2. It will include 16 total rooms, a two-car garage and 430-square-foot covered deck, the application said.
The house will cost about $950,000 to build, it said.
The contractor on the job is homeowner Tim DiCamillo, the architect Andrew Nuzzi of Stamford, it said.
The 1.38-acre property sold in June for $850,000. The town in November 2022 had issued a demolition permit for the 1960-built, 1,938-square-foot ranch-style home on the property.
