The New Canaan Building Department last week received an application to build an approximately 13,400-square-foot home at 1031 Oenoke Ridge.
The new main home will include five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and three half-baths, according to a building permit application filed Sept. 9. Above a detached three-car detached garage will be a guest suite with one bedroom and bathroom and a residential elevator, with 2,894 total square feet, the application said.
It will cost about $10.5 million to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job will be Stamford-based Prutting & Co., the architect Di Biase Filkoff Archtiects PC of Pound Ridge, N.Y.
The 11.16-acre property had been purchased five years ago for about $5.8 million, tax records show. Demolition permits for an existing house and pool were obtained in 2018, records show.
