The New Canaan Building Department last week received an application to build a new house on Rosebrook Road.
The five-bedroom house at 240 Rosebrook Road will include seven bathrooms, a three-car garage and about 4,900 square feet of living space on the first and second floors, according to a building permit application filed Nov. 5.
It will include an office in the attic and gym with golf simulator in the basement, the application said.
The house will cost about $2 million to build, it said. The contractor on the job is Coastal Luxury Homes, the architect James White Architects, both of Westport, according to the application.
The vacant two-acre lot and been purchased in May for $1,450,000, tax records show.
