The New Canaan Building Department last week received an application to construct a 6,000-square-foot home on Ponus Ridge.
The five-bedroom home planned for 959 Ponus Ridge includes five full bathrooms, one half-bath, a partially finished basement and an attached three-car garage, according to the application.
It will cost about $1 million to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job is Pasqualo Guzzo of Seymour, the architect New York City-based Tesoro Architects, it said.
The vacant 2.54-acre parcel, located in the two-acre zone, was purchased last September for $1,295,000, tax records show.
