Officials have identified the man whose body was found under a platform at Springdale train station last weekend as a 65-year-old New Canaan resident.
Metro-North Railroad officials said the body of Stephen Sugrue was found Saturday afternoon.
It isn’t clear how he died.
The matter is under investigation by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police, officials said.
No further information was immediately available.
Earlier in December, a 50-year-old New Canaan resident was identified as the man who had been fatally struck by a train in Darien.
