To put the inventory shortage in perspective, we normally have (approximately) 200 houses for sale approaching year-end—-we currently have 61 houses for sale. Furthermore, of those 61 houses, 29 are asking $3,000,000 or above. There are only 14 active listings from $1,ooo,ooo-$1,999,000, which is our “sweet” spot in New Canaan.
