Police after midnight Friday arrested a 48-year-old Knapp Lane woman and charged her with disorderly conduct and misuse of the emergency 9-1-1 system.
At about 11:12 p.m. on Nov. 14, officers were dispatched to her house to check on the welfare of a person there, according to a police report.
During an investigation, the woman became belligerent toward officers, screaming at them outside the home, the report said.
She phoned 9-1-1 five times in the approximately 44 minutes between 11:06 p.m. and 12:11 a.m., it said.
Police took her into custody on the two misdemeanor charges at 12:15 a.m. on Nov. 15, according to the report.
She was released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 26 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
