Police after midnight Sunday arrested a 40-year-old Wilton woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 1:10 a.m. on Nov. 24, an officer on patrol saw an eastbound vehicle on Silvermine Road drift over the center line and then drift back and cross the white fog line on the other side, according to a police report.
During a stop near Pastures Lane, the officer detected signs of impairment, and the woman failed field sobriety tests, the report said.
Police were unable to administer a test at headquarters to determine her blood-alcohol level, it said.
She was additionally cited for failure to drive right.
Police released the woman after she promised to appear Dec. 5 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
