Police late Monday arrested a 19-year-old Norwalk man and charged him with third-degree forgery.

At about 10:09 p.m. on May 11, an officer on patrol spotted two occupied vehicles parked in Waveny after the park had closed, as per town ordinance, according to a police report.

The Norwalk teen was in one car and a 19-year-old New Canaan man was in the other, the report said.

The officer cited the first for possession of marijuana and for possession of drug paraphernalia. The officer also found fraudulent drivers’ licenses for Connecticut and Rhode Island, leading to the forgery charge.

The New Canaan teen also was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Norwalk man was released after promising to appear June 23 in state Superior Court.
