Visit Temporal Shift by sculptor Alyson Shotz in the Library courtyard and gain rare access to the Archive to view renderings, models, and documentaries that provide insight into the Foundation’s process-focused approach. Afterwards, you may continue the conversation with Pamela in the Commons, where you’ll have the option of purchasing lunch from our seasonal lunch menu. Walking shoes are recommended. Join us as renowned landscape architect Edwina von Gal, principal of her eponymous firm and founder of the Perfect Earth Project, discusses how we can enhance earth equity. Learn about changes you can make to steward fertilizer and pesticide-free landscapes that are bird and pollinator-friendly. Following a presentation of von Gal’s projects with noted architects and artists, walk through the meadows and find native flowers to take home. About Edwina von Gal

Principal of her eponymous landscape design firm since 1984, Edwina creates landscapes with a focus on simplicity and sustainability for private and public clients around the world. Her work has been published in many major publications and her book “Fresh Cuts” won the Quill and Trowel award for garden writing in 1998.

Kids Cook with Chef Neena Perez

Under the guidance of Grace Farms Chef Neena Perez, kids ages 11 – 17 will learn how to cook and bake during beginners classes that emphasize good nutrition, organizational skills, communication, and teamwork. Students may enjoy what they cook during class or bring it home to share with others. We supply all ingredients, recipes, and cooking tools. Please note: We are a peanut-free, allergen sensitive site. We are NOT a 100% gluten, dairy, or nut-free facility.
