LOST DOG: Pomeranian ‘Otis’ Missing Since Last Monday from New Canaan Near Wilton Line

The owners of a 6-year-old Pomeranian that went missing Monday night in New Canaan near the Wilton town line are calling for residents’ help in locating the little dog. Otis is a white Pom with some brownish red coloring, and he went missing in the woods near 567 Cheese Spring Road, owner Jamie Rhind said. “Any help would be greatly appreciated,” Rhind said. Otis is not micro-chipped and is not wearing a collar. He is completely up-to-date on all his shots, Rhind said.

Flat-Coated Retriever, 12, Returns to New Canaan Home after Overnight Disappearance

The 12-year-old flat-coated retriever missing from a Carriage Lane home since Monday night has returned safely, his owner said. Christian, a dog rescued about 10 years ago from a family that had been mistreating him, ran away Monday at the sound of fireworks, Lydia Clay said. She contacted local media and several neighbors. This afternoon, shortly before 4 p.m. he returned home. “He loves my neighbors dog and showed up at her house a little while ago,” Clay said.
