Free Parking in Metered Lots in New Canaan on Friday

The season of giving appears officially to be upon us: Parking machines at metered lots in New Canaan are wrapped in bows with a note saying “Free Parking! Enjoy the Holiday Stroll! New Canaan Parking Bureau.”

Officials in the Parking Bureau could not immediately be reached for comment. Lots with meters in New Canaan include those behind the Playhouse, along Park Street, at Morse Court and on Locust Avenue.
