Police cited two people for minor drug offenses before dawn Saturday after finding pot and smoking gear in their car during a traffic stop.
At about 4:33 a.m. on Feb. 17, an officer on patrol stopped a car speeding while traveling southbound on Old Stamford Road, according to a police report.
The officer spoke to the driver, a 32-year-old Stamford man and passenger, a 22-year-old Greenwich woman, and smelled marijuana, the report said.
Following an investigation, the man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and the woman with possession of marijuana. Both are infraction-level offenses.
