The young black Labrador retriever found roaming at Kiwanis Park two Fridays ago has not been claimed by an owner and is up for adoption, according to the New Canaan Police Department Animal Control unit.
Discovered at the nursery school in Kiwanis, the dog has been named ‘Abbey Rose’ by Animal Control and she’s probably close to one year old, Officer Maryann Kleinschmitt said.
