The New Canaan Land Trust invites you to an Arbor Day Celebration on Sunday, April 28th at the Silvermine-Fowler Preserve. Running from 1pm to 4pm, the family-friendly event will feature a native plant workshop and planting, guided tours of the Preserve and a scavenger hunt developed by Treasure Hunt Tours. Bring your children to the Hands-on Family Fun event at the Silvermine Fowler Land Trust preserve on Saturday, April 5th at 10am and have some fun together exploring the outdoors! Kids will have an opportunity to clear the walking trails- please bring a bucket and gloves. Following a nature themed scavenger hunt, families will have the opportunity to gather and create crafts using the collected items. One craft will have pinecones, sunbutter, bird seed and yarn to make bird feeders.…
