Never in my wildest dream have I seen so many homes sell for a fraction of what they were appraised. In the case of 119 Heather Drive, a beautiful home with 6,174 square feet of living space, with an indoor and outdoor pool, was appraised for $2,363,700 according to the Town Assessor records, sold for just $1,160,000. Shocking.
This was a foreclosure sale so not indicative of the general marketplace. I don’t think it had an outdoor pool and house had many issues to remedy.
Their was something strange about this sale –seems like the buyer was
the only person who had interest in the property ?
foreclosed 9/2018 — did not go on the market till May 23 rd —
wonder how many showings their were
looks like a inside deal like the one on Valley rd some years ago
when a appraised house at $8,000,000 was sold for $2,500,000
the 119 Heather Drive house 2018 value was at $2,363,700
