Police arrested a 54-yar-old Raymond Street woman at 5:18 p.m. on Oct. 17 following a domestic incident at her house.

Officers were dispatched to the residence on a report of a dispute between two people who live there and, based on an investigation, arrested the woman on charges of third-degree assault, police said.

She was released after promising to appear Oct. 19 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

The same individual faces multiple charges for past incidents, according to records on file with the state Judicial Branch, including second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment following arrests in December 2013.

Police arrested a 50-year-old New Haven man who is accused of stealing items from a Pine Street pharmacy.

At about 6:33 p.m. on Oct. 13, police were dispatched to the store on a report of possible shoplifting by two suspects. Police found one of the suspects in the pharmacy, and let that individual go after determining that he had not committed a crime, according to a police report.

Based on a description of the second suspect’s car, police found that individual driving on Heritage Hill Road and saw in plain sight two unopened 4-ounce bottles of Robitussin in their packaging.

The motorist admitted to stealing the items from the pharmacy. Police charged him with sixth-degree larceny and he was released after promising to appear Oct. 22 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Police arrested a 31-year-old Norwalk woman by warrant on Oct. 19 in connection with a motor vehicle crash in July.

At about 9:40 a.m., the woman turned herself in to police on a charge of driving under the influence during a July 30 crash on Oenoke Ridge Road near Lukes Wood Road, according to a police report.

It had taken these intervening months and weeks to receive toxicology test results, officials said.

The woman was released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 29 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
