Letter: Kit Devereaux for First Selectman

I have had the pleasure of knowing Kit Devereaux for nearly twenty years. When I was first elected to the Town Council, I was very fortunate to have Kit as a mentor. Not only was her knowledge extensive, her recollection of procedures and policies were very accurate, and most importantly, her ability to problem solve with those that offered a different viewpoint was so very natural. With over two decades of extensive community service, both elective and volunteered, Kit has given so very much to the New Canaan community. I had the honor of nominating Kit as the Democratic candidate for First Selectman this past July.
