Police after midnight Wednesday arrested a 34-year-old Stamford woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 12:55 a.m. on Nov. 1, an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle traveling northbound on New Norwalk Road that swerved into the oncoming traffic line, according to a police report.
During a subsequent stop, the officer smelled alcohol on the woman’s breath, the report said.
She refused to submit to a chemical test that would help determine her blood-alcohol level, it said.
Police charged the woman with DUI and cited her for failure to drive right.
She was released on $250 bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 14 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
