For the past four years New Canaan residents have benefited from Kim Norton’s energetic work on the Town Council.
Kim helped steer the Town Council through several budget cycles. She made suggestions to better shape the new Plan of Conservation & Development. She supported residents to keep a massive cell tower from scaring the West School landscape.
Kim has a four-year track record of providing team work and critical thinking to the Town Council. She listens to resident concerns. She does her research and is eager to get involved.
Kim will constructively challenge projects when they present risks and costs that are unacceptable.
She will continue to support policies that protect homeowners, advance New Canaan schools and enhance living in New Canaan.
Each candidate should be voted for based on his or her own merits, track record, and insights.
Kim has earned my vote and we need her energy and experience on the Town Council as we face the next round of challenges to our town.
Sincerely,
Joseph D Palo

To the Editor:
As a former Chairman of the Town Council, I know what works. Experience matters—but so does collaboration. A Town Council functions best when its members engage in healthy deliberation and speak with one voice of consensus to an issue’s resolution. Without unity, all you get is noise.
That’s why I proudly endorse the Republican slate: Penny Young, Scott Gress, Arvind Bajaj, and Pavla Levin.
Penny Young is irreplaceable—her institutional knowledge, civility, and ability to build consensus are unmatched. Scott Gress brings valuable Board of Ed and Park & Rec experience and sound judgment. Arvind Bajaj, from our Ethics Board, offers a thoughtful, principled approach. And Pavla Levin, serving on our Utilities Commission, brings critical technology expertise and a forward-thinking mindset.
Each offers a unique perspective. Together, they speak with one principled voice—and that’s exactly what New Canaan needs. Join me in casting a vote for each of them at the Caucus.
Sincerely,
John Engel
Town Council Chairman emeritus

To the Residents of New Canaan,
It is with great enthusiasm that I write to express my strong support for the re-election of Kimberly Norton to the New Canaan Town Council.
Serving alongside Kimberly, I have witnessed firsthand her unwavering dedication to the people of New Canaan. She brings thoughtful leadership, tireless work ethic, and a deep respect for the responsibilities of local government. Kimberly listens carefully, asks the right questions, and approaches every issue with an open mind and a clear sense of purpose.
Kimberly’s commitment to transparency, fiscal discipline, and community engagement has made her a highly effective council member. She consistently prioritizes the long-term interests of our town while remaining accessible and responsive to residents. Whether it’s preserving the character of New Canaan, supporting our schools, or ensuring smart investment in infrastructure, Kimberly brings a balanced and forward-thinking perspective to the table.
In short, she is exactly the kind of leader we need—principled, collaborative, and deeply rooted in the values of our town. I am proud to serve with her, and even prouder to endorse her continued service on the Town Council.
Please join me in voting to re-elect Kimberly Norton this November. New Canaan is stronger with her voice and leadership on the Council.
Sincerely,
Luke J Kaufman
