Police on Sunday arrested a 42-year-old Monroe man following a pre-dawn motor vehicle accident on New Norwalk Road.
At about 2:06 a.m. on June 19, offices were dispatched to Route 123 to investigate the accident, according to a police report.
At about 4 a.m., they charged the motorist with evading responsibility and additionally cited him for failure to drive right.
It isn’t clear what caused the accident, whether other vehicles were involved, just where it happened on New Norwalk Road, whether anyone was injured or why the Monroe man incurred the evading charge.
He was released after promising to appear June 30 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
