Ex-Husband Arrested after Argument outside St. A’s

Police arrested a 42-year-old Pleasantville, N.Y. man by warrant last week for violating a protective order arguing with his ex-wife and then pushing her outside of a church in downtown New Canaan.

Witnesses confirmed that at about 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, the man started arguing with his ex-wife outside St. Aloysius Church and pushed her, according to a police report.

The woman did not fall and had no injuries, and she reported the incident to police at about 4:14 p.m., the report said. Police obtained a warrant for his arrest and at about 7:40 p.m. the following day, he turned himself in on charges of second-degree breach of peace and violation fo a protective order. He was released on $75,000 bond and scheduled to appear May 12 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
