Police cited two 16-year-old Chichester Road siblings on Saturday night after breaking up an underage drinking party at their house.
At about 8:31 p.m. on Saturday, after receiving information that alcohol had been dropped off at the residence, police were dispatched to the area and, arriving, saw youths scatter, according to a police report.
Police discovered that no parents were home and didn’t know about the party, and found beer cans and marijuana and smoking paraphernalia on tables inside, the report said.
The youths each were cited for possession of alcohol by a minor, police said.
The case was referred to the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
Police withheld their names because of their ages.
