The New Canaan Building Department on Oct. 16 issued a permit for a four-townhouse development on Richmond Hill Road.
The project coming to 14 Richmond Hill Road includes four approximately 2,200-square-foot units, each with three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a half-bath, according to the building permit application.
They’ll each have an open-concept main level with a “spacious living and dining area, complete with a fireplace that serves as a cozy centerpiece,” the application said.
They’ll each have a finished attic and basement, private rear patio and one-car garage, it said.
They’ll cost $1.4 million to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job is Joseph Michael Developments LLC, the architect AWA Design Group, both of Stamford.
The .3-acre property had a 1955-built multifamily home on it, tax records show.
It was purchased in November 2024 for $1,625,000 by a limited liability company, the records show. Its principals include two New Canaan residents, according to Connecticut Secretary of the State records.
