Jane A. Curran passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the age of 77, after a 15-year battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Jane A. Curran
Born on June 26, 1948, Jane’s life was defined by love, grace, creativity, quiet strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She was married to her devout husband, Dan Curran Sr., who is greatly saddened by their 25-year journey coming to an end.
Jane is survived by her brother, Larry (Betsy) Athan Jr., her nephews, Larry (Leslie) Athan III, and Robby Athan, and her stepsons, Dan B (Lora) Curran, Jr. and Patrick Curran, all who held a special place in her heart. She is predeceased by her mother, Betty Schreck, father, Lawrence Athan Sr., and stepfather, Marty (Betty) Schreck.
She was a proud and caring mother to Michael (Natalie) Kerrigan, Kate (Clint) Noell, and Emily Kerrigan — whose lives were shaped by her kindness, wisdom, and dedicated love and support. Being a grandmother to Tai Kerrigan, Hunter Kerrigan, Jake Kerrigan, Bo Noell, Ivy Kerrigan, and Isabelle Noell filled her with profound happiness and pride; each grandchild brought her endless joy.
Jane’s hands were rarely still. She poured her heart into quilting, knitting, and crocheting, creating pieces that were not only award-winning works of art but also lasting symbols of her love. She also never missed an opportunity to send a card — for birthdays, anniversaries, and every milestone in between — a thoughtful tradition that made her loved ones feel cherished year after year.
Her strength through years of illness was matched only by her warmth toward others. Jane will be remembered not just for her talents and perseverance, but for her ability to make others feel appreciated, special, and loved.
A celebration of Jane’s life, to be held in her hometown of Fairview Park, OH, will be announced at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Gathering Place or Hospice of the Western Reserve, in honor of the care and comfort they provided to her and so many.
