At this time of year, many critical fundraising requests are being made by worthy local organizations. We at the Library are grateful to our generous donors for their loyal support of our mission. Thank you for the confidence and trust you continue to place in us.
Recently, a mass mailing which prominently featured the Library’s image was sent by the New Canaan Preservation Alliance to many of our neighbors. As a non-profit organization ourselves, we understand the need to ask for financial support, but many community members have been confused by this appeal and contacted us asking if the Library would be the beneficiary of this fundraising outreach. The answer is no.
