Here’s our exchange.

New Canaanite: We have a lot of new residents in town, many of them young families who had lived in New York City. How would you describe Wave on Elm to them?

Heather Satin: We are so excited to be seeing so many new faces. Wave is your go-to for jewelry, home accessories, and clothing. We sell everything from diamonds to denim. Wave wraps and ships all over the country.

We connected just as the heaviest early restrictions at the outset of the pandemic were lifting, in May 2020. At that time, we talked about FaceTime sales, phone orders and toothpicks by the credit card machine. Here we are two holiday shopping seasons later. How is Wave on Elm doing?

Wave is conducting business as usual, both in-store sales and online sales at waveonelm.com.

You’re right in the heart of the village. What’s your sense of consumer activity this holiday shopping season?

I feel that many people are trying to make this a special holiday season as they remembered from their past. Getting together again with family and friends.

What are some of your best-sellers right now?

Wave is receiving new merchandise daily, so come by, and we will show you around.
