The incident occurred at about 4:05 p.m. on Nov. 19, and police corroborated the violation by reviewing video taken from the bus, according to a police report.

The owner of the vehicle, a 31-year-old Clapboard Hill Road woman, was not driving the Mazda at the time—the family’s nanny was—but she accepted the ticket and hefty fine for passing the school bus, police said.

A contractor, 35, reported to police on Monday Nov. 24 that his crew worked from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day and left all the material in storage containers at the property.

Police are investigating.
