Calling all bakers, cupcake decorators or simply anyone with a sweet tooth! New Canaan CARES is hosting their second annual Cake Baking Contest Sunday, January 22nd from 2-4pm at Halo Studios.

Come and beat the January blues at this fun filled family event, which includes awards for craziest cake, fanciest cake and best use of color. Non-bakers are also encouraged to come with their entire family, free of charge, for activities including a cupcake decorating station and face painting.

And for those who love sweets, a silent auction with creations from local businesses, including Gates and Simply Delicious, will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting Cares youth and family programs.
