Grace Farms To Describe Its Mission at Men’s Club

Friday, December, 15, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Representatives from the Grace Farms Foundation will describe the organization’s activities and mission at this week’s New Canaan Men’s Club meeting in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge.
Known for its architecturally distinctive River Building, Grace Farms describes itself as a center for culture and collaboration, bringing people together to explore nature, arts, justice, community, and faith at its location on 80 acres of publicly accessible, preserved natural landscape.
The club’s Dec. 17 meeting will begin at 10 a.m. with remarks by Meg Hely Walsh, chief partnerships officer, and Elizabeth Rapuano, director of communications, speaking at about 10:40 a.m., following the business portion of the meeting.
To further its objectives across its initiatives, Grace Farms is “committed to address humanitarian issues together, including modern slavery, environmental sustainability, food insecurity, and disconnected communities. This unique approach often leads to unprecedented new outcomes.”
At its site, Grace Farms hosts speakers, conducts classes, hosts meetings, concerts and workshops to further understanding across the diverse audiences.
As chief partnerships officer, Hely Walsh has been engaged in promoting human and civil rights, community investment, sustainability and various other social issues. Prior to her work at Grace Farms, she was corporate responsibility partner at Holland & Knight, an international law firm. Rapuano counts two decades of experience in communications and marketing at not-for-profit and educational institutions.
The Men’s Club has openings for new members, men 55-years old and above. For information about joining, email ncmens@ncmens.club.
