The town recently issued three permits for new construction in New Canaan, and one permit to demolish a White Oak Shade Road home.

New Construction

108 Bennington Place

A 6,500-square-foot, 5-bedroom home is planned for the 2.07-acre property here—until last summer the site of a 1960 Modern home. The contractor on the planned $1,102,000 construction job, LTW Builders LLC, had purchased the home in January 2013 for $865,000.

The new home will include five full baths, five fireplaces, a playroom in the attic and three-car attached garage, according to the building permit application, issued June 10.

32 Country Club Road

Purchased last summer for $1.2 million, this 2.24-acre property is slated to get a 6,630-square-foot home with six bedrooms, five full baths, two half-baths, three fireplaces, a finished basement and attic and a three-bay garage.

Lecher Development LLC is both contractor and owner of the property, and construction is expected to cost $1.2 million, according to a building permit issued June 10.

This 2.98-acre lot will see a 7,050-square-foot home go in, with eight rooms, five full bathrooms and a half-bath, three fireplaces, a finished basement and three-car garage. Construction will cost $1,040,000, according to a building permit issued June 4, and the contractor is Woodcrest Homes LLC.

The property had been purchased last August for $800,000 (a 1951 Modern had stood there) and a demo permit issued in January.
