The town on Oct. 27 received an application to build a 6,000-square-foot, six-bedroom home on a vacant Carter Street lot.
The new home at 668 Carter St. would include five full bathrooms, two half-baths, kitchen, family room, living room, dining room, foyer, library, sitting room, playroom and covered front porch, according to the building permit application.
It will cost about $ 1million to build, the application said.
The 2.49-acre property is owned by a limited liability company whose principals live in Wilton and in Barrington, R.I.
The contractor on the job is Wilton-based D’Aconto Construction, and architect is DeMasi Architects PC of Mount Kisco, N.Y.
