The New Canaan Building Department on Oct. 25 received an application for a new home on Church Street.
The 3,632-square-foot house at 49 Church St. will include four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half-baths, a 900-square-foot finished basement and two-car garage (12 rooms total), according to the building permit application.
It will cost about $950,000 to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job will be Thomas Sturges Construction, the architect MacMillan Architects, both of Ridgefield, it said.
The .21-acre property had been purchased in May for $910,000, tax records show.
