The home at 11 Gower Road will include five bedrooms and 19 total rooms, according to a building permit application filed July 17. Those include family, dining, living and mud rooms as well as a kitchen onto first floor. One bedroom will be located in the attic, along with a playroom, and the basement will include an entertainment room and gym, the application said.
It will cost about $700,000 to build, the application said. The contractor and architect on the job is Darien-based Moon Chun. He owns Sanda Company LLC.
Chun also is property’s owner, having acquired it earlier this month for $655,000.
An application is in to demolish the 1947 ranch-style home on the lot.
