A new 3,600-square-foot home is planned for the corner of Seminary Street and Scofield Lane, according to a building permit application filed last week with the New Canaan Building Department.
The house at 115 Seminary Street—or “15 Scofield Lane,” as the applicant describes the property—will include four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, according to an application filed July 25.
The .6-acre property includes a 1983-built Colonial, tax records show.
It was purchased last month for $900,000 by Seminary Street LLC. The company’s managing partners are both Norwalk residents, according to state records. One of them owner of the company listed as contractor on the homebuilding job, Anthony Tomas Builders. The Norwalk-based company also is architect on the job, the application said.
No estimated cost of construction is listed on the application.
