A new 8,000-square-foot home is planned for one of three parcels carved out of a 9-acre lot on Weed Street near Irwin Park.

It will include six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and a half-bath—28 rooms in all, according to a building permit application filed June 10.
To be built for about $1.75 million by Westport’s Coastal Construction Group, the home also will have three fireplaces.
The lot at 927 Weed St. follows from a subdivision of 929 Weed St. that the Planning & Zoning Commission approved in December.
The parcel sold in April for $1,425,000.

A 6,600-square-foot, five-bedroom home is planned for a 1.88-acre lot on Charter Oak Drive.

The new home will have 10 total rooms, and will be built for about $1.2 million by Darien’s Moon J. Chun, according to the application, filed June 10.
