The town on Tuesday issued a permit for a 3,550-square-foot home to go in at 139 White Oak Shade Road.

Here’s what the house at 139 White Oak Shade Road, under construction now, will look like.
Located in the S-curve between Overlook and Putnam, it’s a 1-acre lot that includes the bottom of what many New Canaanites will identify as a great winter sledding hill.
Construction on the new home, for an estimated $800,000 appears to underway, by Centerville, Utah-based Mathews Construction Inc., appears to be underway.

It will include four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two half-baths, two fireplaces, an unfinished basement, finished attic, two-bay garage, open patio, and covered deck and patio.
