A New Canaan Police vehicle struck a cyclist late Monday while pulling out of department headquarters, officials say.
At about 9 p.m. on June 27, the NCPD vehicle while turning right out of the department’s lot at 156 South Ave. struck a 68-year-old man on his bicycle, according to a press release from police.
The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Norwalk Hospital by New Canaan Emergency Medical Services, the release said.
“At this time this incident is under investigation and no additional information will be released,” it said.
