Police Arrest 13-Year-Old after Fight with Mother

Police arrested a 13-year-old Hawks Hill Road boy and his mother after an argument at home escalated and became physical.

According to a police report, at about 6:29 p.m. on Feb. 12, the mother, 46, either tossed or pushed to the floor a dish with food during the argument, prompting the teen to strike her in the face.

The youth was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. His case was referred to the Juvenile Matters Division at state Superior Court in Stamford. He was scheduled to appear Feb. 18.

The mother was charged with disorderly conduct and scheduled and released after promising appear Feb. 13 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Police arrested a divorced couple Feb. 10 after an argument at the ex-wife’s Dan’s Highway home turned physical.

At about 8:58 p.m. police received a complaint from the woman, 40, that her ex-husband had pushed her to the ground and that each had thrown items at the other following an argument, according to a police report.

Police arrested the man, 46, at his Norwalk home and charged him with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 11 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

The ex-wife was charged with disorderly conduct and released after promising to appear the same day, police said.
