A 58-year-old Lakeview Avenue woman was arrested by police last Monday afternoon following a domestic incident.
Police determined that the woman had struck another occupant of her residence in the side of the face, and charged her with disorderly conduct, according to a police report.
She was charged with disorderly conduct and scheduled to appear Dec. 22 in state Superior Court in Norwalkk.

Police at about on the evening of Dec. 19 cited a 21-year-old Stamford man on minor drug charges after they found pot in his car during a traffic stop.
At 9:02 p.m., an officer clocked a motorist traveling north on South Avenue at 45 mph in a 30 mph zone, according to a police report.
After pulling the car over near Church Street, the officer spotted marijuana in plain view in the vehicle, police said.
The motorist was issued an infraction summons for possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana.

Police at 7 a.m. on Dec. 18 arrested a 38-year-old New York, N.Y. man by warrant and charge him with fifth-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card, criminal impersonation, illegally obtaining goods or services and third-degree identity theft.
City police held the arrested man on a warrant held by New Canaan in connection with a 2013 instance of fraud, police said.

Police on Dec. 14 received a report from a Sunset Hill Road resident that someone had attempted to steal items from his mailbox.
The man was inside his home when he saw a dark-colored Acura pull up to his mailbox at the end of his driveway, according to a police report. A man described as about 30 years old and with dark skin stepped out of the car, opened the mailbox and removed an envelope, the report said.
Officers who searched the area were unable to locate the car in question, police said. No video surveillance is available. The envelope that was stolen had a check in it, police said.

Police on Dec. 18 received a complaint that packages were stolen from a front porch on New Lane some time between 10:53 and 11:30 a.m. that day.
UPS had delivered the packages, worth $95 total, officials said.
