New Canaan Police on Monday arrested a 33-year-old Solé Restaurant employee by warrant after an investigation showed that he’d stolen alcohol and cash over several months.
Police launched an investigation April 2 after taking a report of the thefts at the restaurant, located at 105 Elm St., officials said.
It showed that the Fairfield resident stole $3,175 worth of alcohol and cash dating back to at least December 2020, according to a police report.
The man turned himself in on the active arrest warrant for third-degree larceny, a felony-level offense, at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.
He was released on $30,000 bond and scheduled to appear June 21 in state Superior Court.
