Police arrested an 82-year-old Weston man by warrant Thursday for writing bad checks.
At about 3:51 p.m. on Feb. 18, the man turned himself in to police an active warrant for two counts of issuing a bad check, according to a police report.
He had issued a $10,000 check to a local New Canaan business on Sept. 25, and then a $5,000 check to a local business on Oct. 7, the report said.
He was released after promising to appear March 3 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
